Jamario Moon To Miss Time With Abdominal Strain

Jamario Moon’s getting shut down for at least 10 days with an abdominal strain, Mike Brown says. As a lover of alley-oops and the small-ball lineup, I’m bummed by this. However, this does mean that Boobie gets to return to the lineup, which could be a blessing in disguise.

In other news, Rafer Alston has been bought out by the Nets and will sign with the Heat, according to Yahoo!’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Apparently the Cavs were rumored to be in the running for his services, but obviously missed out. Can’t say I’m devastated by the fact the Cavs missed out on a guy bought out by a 3-30 team, especially when Boobie couldn’t crack the rotation for the Cavs as it is, but it might’ve been worth the veteran’s minimum just to keep Alston on the bench and make 100% sure he doesn’t light us up during a random playoff game this season.
