The Cleveland Cavaliers return home from a six-game road trip which ended even at three wins and three losses. The trip was not kind to the Cavs health however, as the list of injured players continues to grow. In addition to the absence of Love and Thompson, Cleveland has added Rodney Hood (back), and Cedi Osman (hip) to the list. As of 1:00pm, Larry Nance Jr., per Sam Amico, is still unavailable for this match-up but the Cavs may see the return of Kyle Korver, though that is still uncertain. As if this exhaustive list of beleaguered athletes wasn’t enough, it was reported today, Monday morning, that Ty Lue will be taking a leave of absence for the health concerns we have been hearing about for the past few weeks. Despite my issues with his coaching this season, I wish him all the best in recovering quickly, health issues are no joke. Larry Drew will be filling in in his absence. Fortunately, there is a glimmer of hope as Amico also reports that Love is questionable for tonight. Even if he does not play tonight, Love’s imminent return must be a breath of fresh air for Cleveland.

Despite a depleted roster, LeBron just keeps continuing to elevate his game, recording multiple triple doubles and generally astounding everyone along the way. Even considering James’s brilliance, the Bucks aren’t the Bulls or the Suns and will be a much tougher match-up. Hopefully we get a bit more good news on the injury front later this afternoon as the Cavaliers may need it in order to get past Milwaukee. As always, Go Cavs!
