***BREAKING NEWS*** David Griffin OUT

That about says it all, right?  It appears that, after three years with the franchise, David Griffin and the Cleveland Cavaliers have mutually agreed to part ways.  In addition, Trent Redden, the team’s senior vice president of basketball operations, is on his way out.

Reports have pegged Chauncey Billups a potential replacement:

 

It sounds as though Griffin may not have seen eye to eye with Gilbert on offseason moves, particularly the status of Kevin Love:

This begs the question — after reports of trade talks between Cleveland and Chicago and Cleveland and Indiana for Butler and PG13, respectively, who the heck is negotiating on behalf of the Cavs?!

And of course, the players don’t seem to be in the loop:
