I almost did something else beside watch the second half, then I saw LeBron have a long conversation with Lance Stephenson to start the third and punctuate it with a smile. Figured I’d see if it meant what I thought it did! Cavs did something they haven’t done in a long time, they put the fear back into the East. Lue was shockingly intelligent and made some amazing unexpected moves. Does he have a switch to? Awesome game!

Man…Lue would totally get the game ball if Lebron were not supernova last night. I just cannot believe how many buttons he got right. Riding shump….The shumpert strip to get us to 100 was a thing of beauty…the choice to leave Channing in even though he can’t rebound that well…the choice to snag a few minutes for JR to keep them honest…and riding korver for heavy minutes…so many decisions I’d question if we lost. Korver plays suck sneaky good defense

Have now watched several times the key moment where JR lost Teague, drove to the paint & kicked to Frye for 3.
I honestly think JR was intending to shoot a rhythm 3 after a dance with Teague. You can see a look of surprise on his face when he realises Teague is lost & there’s an open lane to drive into. It takes him a moment to go for it. Hope it gives JR some confidence that his form right now is good for more than just shooting.
that was a great move and by him driving instead of pulling up it forced the Pacers to collapse which left Frye wide open

Man, was I watching a different game? Everyone saying Love needs to get his head in the game or some variation. The dude was getting physically mauled down there, mostly by the muggings that Seraphin was dolling out. When his outside shots stopped falling, Lue needed to put someone in that could pull Seraphin/Turner out of the paint. Frye started hitting, gotta ride the hot hand.
Yep. And short memories, dude dominated game 2. I love this team because someone puts their hand up when needed. The negative narrative will be Kev & Kyrie played badly because we won without their 2nd half presence. For mine, it’s a positive narrative – Lue saw who was hot and backed them. GOOD COACHING.
And both Kev and Ky said all the right things after the game, too. Awesome teamwork.
When Channing hit that big shot at the end, Kyrie was the first person up and out on the court cheering.
I hope Kyrie and KLove show up next game after what LeBron did yesterday. It’s just the first round of the playoffs and Lebron had to flip the switch into “finals mode” already.

Yup the Raptors are a pretty inconsistent team. They played really bad in games 1 and 3 but played with more confidence in game #2. Let’s see what happens next game.

That second half​ performance by LeBron was incredible. To see that lineup give so much effort on defense and play with heart, it shows they are not resting on their laurels as some people thought (myself included).
This could had easily been “pack it in” game after the first half but the champs had another idea. I hope Love, JR and Ky realize that a bunch of veterans can get the job done if they give a F, therefore there is no excuse for them not to.
On another note, Bucks are freaking scary right about now.
