LeBron and Kyrie return to the fold for the Cavs, joining starters Tristan Thompson, Channing Frye, Iman Shumpert, and what’s left of his teeth. Meanwhile, James Johnson will sit for the Heat. He’s got three stitches in his elbow from Shump’s chompers, and the Heat want to avoid an infection. Tyler Johnson will join James on the bench due to “neck and shoulder soreness,” as reported by the Palm Beach Post’s Tom D’Angelo. Tyler has battled shoulder issues throughout his career and took some hard screens from Orlando and Cleveland over the weekend.
The Cavs will be without Tyronn Lue who called off sick for this one. They’ll be coached by Larry Drew.
Look for more fireworks after the late game dustups in Miami, but with one big difference. Andrew Bogut will be manning the middle for the first time off the bench for Cleveland . Let’s hope that he can counter Hassan Witeside who Cleveland had no answer for in South Beach. If ‘Drew can bring some much needed defense, it would be a boon. Cleveland is posting the worst defense in the NBA since the All-Star break, but have posted a top five offense to at least keep their record respectable. Maybe they take a bite out of the Heat.

the scouting report never lies and the opposing teams know that the Cavs 3 ball defense is bad so they are they are just punishing them.

Heat have hit 14 threes and it feels like twice that. I can’t imagine what it must have felt like to be a Hawks fan in the eastern semis last year.

We swept Boston two seasons ago, too, but it cost us a championhip, if you remember. I don’t want anything to do with undertalented teams trying like hell to make up with reckless physicality, especially in the first round.

Such a pity Bogut went down like that. We ve really been decimated by injuries this season, after a relatively healthy last season. Let’s cross our fingers that we just saw the last of it.
