I’ll go ahead and second Boobie Gibson.
I am glad we could rescue B.D. from the Clippers, that Donald Sterling is a real nut. I hope Mo doesn’t suffer the same fate that Davis had in L.A. Also, you have to love Samardo’s drive and effort. He could really be a good role player in the future (I am trying to temper my excitement!).

As mediocre of a talent Samardo is, you have to love his heart. He’s completely genuine in playing his hardest, and he looks upset (but not discouraged) when he makes a mistake. He’s bound to be a fan favorite if he sticks around, and I agree with John’s assessment that he could be an 8th or 9th man on a good team in an ideal world.
Samardo sounds like a good person. I love people who are humble when they don’t have to say that they are humble in every quote given to the media.
Hickson could be a really good player if he stops taking so many step-back jumpers. He just needs to get his head out of his ass.
Didja read Hollinger’s piece today & guys likely to breakout in a year’s time? TWO Cavs on the list, Eyenga & Hickson. Makes me feel optimistic that next year with two extra young guns the Cavs will finally be this “fun & gun” team we were promised for 2010-11. And since they’ll still be pretty bad overall, another lottery pick.
Unless there is no 2011-12 season (actually, I kind of fear Stern will cancel the season as a favor to Obama so he doesn’t miss anything while campaigning for reelection. Jesus, I sound like Bill Simmons right now…)
