Tom, I loved this recap so much!!!! To Win It LIKE THIS….. THIS WAY IS SO MUCH BETTER! This was a spiritual win too. Lebron gave much praise to God and kept saying God doesn’t give you more than you can handle and it motivated him when faced down 3-1. I’ve always heard in church it is because the Glory is SO MUCH BETTER that way to God 1st but also to the individual. So True . This Win is through the roof of all time NBA Finals.. It will be talked for years!!

I’m with EG unfortunately. I was a 6th grade kid at the game for red right 88. Slept out for AFC championship game tix in 87 for the drive. SRO at the shot. Only missed the fumble because I couldn’t get home from college to drive with my cousins out to Denver. Sat here watching this game, no longer living in CLE, with friends rooting for the Cavs, THANKFUL that my 2 sons don’t have to suffer the Believeland curse like me. I will LOVE this team forever!!!!

Aaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I took a Benedryll so I could sleep…Cavs the adrenaline won’t let it work. This was insane and unlikely and unprecedented and amazing. Guys…a Cleveland sports team won a professional title. Kids all over Cleveland can now say “I’m from Cleveland…even if nobody else has done this in history…I can. I’m from Cleveland!”

We’re probably too biased and delirious to answer right now… but I believe that history will show that it is… 32 teams tried and failed to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the Finals… Two of them (Knicks in 51 and Lakers in 66) came back to force a Game 7… The Cavs are the ONLY team to ever win in such a position… and they did it against the greatest regular season team of all-time record wise…

This game has indelibly burned into my brain the black sleeved jerseys, which I hated, as legendary like the ones from Mark Price era Cavs & the blues from Detroit game 5. What was ugly, with a win, has become legend. It’s little things like that which change just from this victory. My hopes are that from something as ‘inconsequential’ as a mere game, so many little things change for Cleveland.
Tom… love it. If there is anything sad about tonight it’s that RJ will be retiring… Fortunately, NOTHING can ruin tonight!
I mean, that’s awesome for RJ. What a way to go out, and what a contribution he was. Vets wanting one last chance will hopefully be lining up. Just not used to it working out as well as it did with him.
Oh god I’m so happy for him. Seriously, you can’t write it up better than that. Happy for him, sad for us. But really, no more mention of even being sad from me. Not tonight.
This is one of the greatest moments of my life. Believeland. My god, still cannot believe it. The cavs won against history, against all odds, against nearly everyone believing they couldn’t do the impossible. I am still in utter disbelief. This is incredible. LBJ is the greatest of all time, Kyrie is the future, i don’t know what else to say. 32 teams, only two forced game 7. 0/32 until now. This is the greatest comeback in sports history. Cleveland, NE Ohio finally have our ship. Hallelujah!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhnhnhhn!!!!!
