Looks like a boring Finals – Lakers in 4.
haha, Puppet Lebron got evicted. Kobe say hello to your new roommate D. Howard.
Can we stop with the comparison to MJ now?
MJ had the Pistons, Heat and Knicks to deal with. With the Jordan Rules and todays gift to the guards (hand check rule) there really should be a comparison.
Wonder what the Dwight puppet will be like?
what can cavs do to get over the hump?
King james NAh,.. its prince james… He not the MVP it Mamba
If you know basketball LA will win. They won’t double Dwight Howard and leave open 3 point shooters. If he dominates, he dominates but he’s not going to score 80 points by himself. Also, Jameer Nelson was huge in those games, he won’t be there. It’s a done deal. It’s all about match ups LA struggles with small quick point guards and people that can beat you off the dribble. They swarm big men.
Oh yeah they will keep Dwight Howard in foul trouble all series.
i agree with u moxee23 but yo.. 4real 23 or 24 …. im lyk laughin at prince james…. its KOBE the real MVP the Better more compete player between the 2
I guess ESPN is going to make a Dwight Howard puppet, right?
Chosen one…my ass…i’m glad the cavs lost…
Lakers in 4. Where do you all think LeBron is going to go? Do you think he is going to stay in Cleveland, or go to New York?
Yo Carlos hahah thats a funny one .. but did u see how they had lebrons puppet… yo put that shit back in the box
you mean after he’s out of the psychological treatment? Well I think he is going to stay
Kobe isn’t that great either, dare I say slightly overrated? Can we stop with the MJ comparisons with him please. Dwight Howard…..I’d still take Shaq and Tim Duncan on my team over Dwight Howard every time.
Carlos, it wasn’t ESPN that made the puppet commercials dumbass, it was Nike.
Lebron’s puppet for sale now on Ebay just $0.99 on Buy it now or make the Best Offer, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!! But the head is ripped off. HAHAHA!!!!!!
4real 4reall.. im so laughin at the L.A haters..// face it
1. Lebron got no Midrange shot
2. A tad bit overated
3. not the killer or closer kobe is
4. Not the complete player kobe is… layups and dunks will only get yo far “Prince James”
5. He not Kobe…
Whatever!!! But thank you for the correction. I’m humble
NotWatchingThe09Finals, get the hell out of the blog site right now. Shaq is an old man compared to Dwight. He is a beast. Kobe isn’t that great? You can’t be serious. Please tell me your joking, right?
I can’t stand Orlando or the people in it! Bunch of doche bags
HAHAHA!!! Shaq or Duncan?! The are old dude!!! Hey, we’re in 2009!
I 110% agree with ChurchStreetGags, nicely put.
I think the finals have a good chance of going to 6 or 7 games. Orlando and the Lakers have been playing good ball.
How can you compare Dwight to Duncan and Shaq. Both of those guys have their legacies set, Dwight has yet to do that. I reckon that surrounded with the right players, D.Howard can enter that pantheon of big men.
Here is the biggest match-up problem, Stan and Phil. The Lakers are going to roll over this Orlando team. LBJ is going to stay in Cleveland, but Danny Ferry will work his own “magic” to get the last piece of the puzzle. Say goodbye to Wally, Z, Ben, and Boobie, they are all trade bait for that puzzle. Don’t be surprise if you see Shaq, Bosh, or Richardson in a Wine and Gold jersey next year. I’m not a damn “front runner” like all these people about the Lakers, the Pats, and the Yankees – I’m a “do or die” Cleveland Fan, I just want to see a championship in my lifetime.
There is a Curse on Cleveland Sports, and I think LBJ is the breaker of that curse, just needs the last piece!!
Even though i’m a Laker homer, i would much rather have seen Cleveland in the Finals. If that were the case i would be a 100% sure that Kobe would win his 4th ring. With Orlando, its all about match ups. We have no answer for Dwight, unless Bynum decides to show up.
And without Pau, Odom and everybody else Kobe would just be the Lebron of the West coast. If Lebron could get teammates like Pau, Odom then hmmm they’d be in the Finals now wouldn’t they? Midrange shot? Kobe has bricked his fair share. I’ve never liked the Lakers all the way back to when Magic Johnson was playing for them so naturally I’m for any and every team that plays against the Lakers always have been. I just dislike Dwight Howard period not so much his team.
Why? What’s wrong with Dwight. I’m a Cavs fan and obviously dislike the Magic and wanted to see the Cavs in the finals, but Dwight is a humble and clean cut kid who is chasing after a dream. Why so much hate towards him. Now I can understand the hate towards everyone else on that team (Hedo Turkgalu, Mikael Pietruis, and all those other douche bags) but Dwight, c’mon man.
Lebron’s “mid-range jumper” let him down big time. Is the guy ever gonna fix this or just do what he always does a crash to the rim. His lack of post game, something Kobe doesn’t brilliantly, is also a major deficit. While Lebron is the best player in the NBA, he still has some flaws in his game.
Well said DCinCLE
Couldn’t agree with you more. Lebrick really turned it on tonight.
howard has never committed a foul in his life
I feel sorry for Bron. He has no supporting cast. Everytime Cleveland thinks they surround him with a championship cast, they fall short. Bring some good players in, Cleveland.
it’s unbelievable cleveland were favorites – their team just stinks beyond lebron. west and mo are nice players, but that team is absolute rubbish beyond that. lebron needs some proper help (i.e. a scoring big man) and a post game and cleveland will be fine.
The main thing that that made me dislike Dwight was in the Boston series when he called out his coach because he felt like he was taken out of the game when he shouldn’t have been, but he really wasn’t doing his part. I watched that game, now he is supposed to be Superman 2 and be so dominate but Perkins and Big Baby was ballin all over him. His teammates were doing most of the work in the paint, rebounds etc. But he called out the coach….come on now pick up some of the blame and say you could have done more as well.
Nicely put ricardo. Maybe we could acquire Dwight Howard. Haha. My God just think how unstoppable Cleveland would be. They might win 75 games.
yo fo take that cleveland
notwatching is right – perkins and big baby had it all over howard. play him with proper solid D (not Z and varejao) and the only way he can score is lucky put backs and gimmes. he’s good, but not that good.
So magic is 6.
also lebron coming to orlando would make a better team then howard to cleveland
lakers in 4
yeah howard and lebron combo — that would be more like an all star team.
Crack open the Bud Light and whip out the Doritos, because this just might be the boringest Finals series in the history of the NBA.
No doubt about that B Ri. That would be a helluva team.
such an unlikely finals matchup – who wouldve thought orlando would be in the finals at the start of the year? and why were the ‘experts’ so adamant on cleveland? they lose to magic 12 out of last 16 meetings, have a 3-6 record against LA, boston and orlando and they are still picked as favorites…silly
So much disrespect on here. Magic sucks??? Yea they suck but beat the Defending Champions, Boston and the “Beast in the East” Cleveland. I guess I can understand if you live in Ohio. Florida owns you guys. Now I have to listen all week to every say how LA is going to crush Magic. We swept the Lakers this season, but we can’t beat the Lakers??? Time to eat your words again haters. If you close your eyes you can see Dwight kissing the trophy, so stop acting like you know about the Magic when you don’t have a clue.
magic were clearly a better team, at every position except for lebron
Magic beat Boston without Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe. If Kevin and Leon played in that series, Magic would’ve never won that series. I would’ve been Cleveland and Lakers in the Final after Cleveland beats Boston. Magic sucks. no, you all can’t beat the Lakers. Kobe won’t allow it. He has expierence as well as the entire Lakers staff. It’s over before it even begins, magicfan. Go home. This is the last time you will see your team anywhere close to the finals.
Boston may not of had Garnett, which I agree would of made a big difference for Boston, but don’t forget Orlando is without one of their star players Jameer Nelson. Orlando has more faith, & & better mind set than I have ever seen them. They have the hearts of champions this year. Their own fans don’t even believe in them as much as they believe in themselves. They have a hungry coach, & great physical ability ! I think they will take LA in game 7 !!!!
I’m going to go throw myself in a hot spring. Danny Ferry it’s on you. Lot of good tradeable stuff. JJ step up. At least one more year of the King, it’s now or never mother effers. And for next year…
VIVA LA CAVS!!!
