The fun starts right here at 5:30, folks. Preview-wise, allow me to say in print and on record that Mo Williams has no business guaranteeing a victory. See you at 5:30, and feel free to use the comments as a preview chat. Joining me will be Zach McCann of Orlando Magic Daily, who will actually be live from press row in Orlando.
I dunno, the Magic seem like a really great team. I rather give Howard a lot of credit for scoring 10 in overtime with 5 fouls. You know, not every loss is a choke.
OR lebron and the cavs arnt so great and they just choked
Sigh, i can’t refute your logic. U r so rite!!!oneoneoneone
Mo Williams needs to step up. Lebron can’t do everything. This reminds me of the game last year between Boston and Los Angeles. Koby is the best player on the Lakers team. Boston has a lot of very good players and that’s how they won. Cleveland’s players better step up or they won’t win this.
People have said that this playoffs has been Melo’s elevation into the superduperstar category. Surely D12 is putting himself in that same class.
Ridders, i’m with you in that regard. D12 is definitely having a coming out party. He is quite a beast!
tomorrow’s headline will read: ORLANDO SURVIVES PRO-CAVS OFFICIATING AT OWN HOMECOURT
“this is why the cavs are the best team in the nba. they play as a team. lebron is amazing but he uses his teamates and his teamates help him and make him better. lebron also helps his teamates thhat is why they will have a dynasty in cleveland.”
LOLOL. More like DIE NASTY!!!! GO MAGIC!!!
i cant wait till D12 has to face some quality big men against the lakers
well im getting the 20 bucks i wasted on that MVP shirt back.
Lol trust me i’m an LA fan and the last team i want to see is Orlando. We will get massacred. We have no answer for Dwight, not to mention Orlando’s other match up nightmares.

If they aren’t so great then how is it a choke?
I’m a die hard laker fan and it will be fun playing with the magic in the finals. it looks like the king should have been a prince first before thinking he can be kobe the real king of basketball. (great game Howard)
that is if they can make it to this finals Jon. orlando is playing against 8 guys on the floor in this series.
thats where your wrong odom or bynum wont just sit there and watch Howard catch the ball in the semicircle time after time
Ight I’m a magic fan to start and I do firmly believe that the Cavs are a good team. But face facts the magic are superior. Individual players win games but teams win Championships. The cav’s have Lebron but the Magic are a complete team. I hope to see Lebron on another team starting next season so his talent won’t be wasted anymore on a second rate team.
Odom is hurt and Bynum can’t stay on court. Even when bynum was healthy in the regular season, i remember Dwight putting a 20/20 on him. Trust me, LA would match rather see the Cavs rather than Orlando. Imagine if they had Jameer nelson!!!
Hahahaha!!!!! Magic won again…. Lebron what now?? You can’t win championship believe me…Imagine Cleaveland Line up are far more better that Magic and with all the credit Lebron got from ref still couldn’t pull a win.
Then again, we have to get past Denver, who are killing our front court. We could very well be in store for a Denver Orlando finals. david stern will probably cut himslf, but the games would be great.
stop jumping the gun. orlando has yet to win over the entire league obviously pampering the cavs. for some reason, james-bryant has to meet in the finals – which sucks.
No tomorrows head line will be ORLANDO PLAYS 8-5 AT HOME AND STILL WIN!!!!! Like my said earlier i’ll put up on it if u need to send the refs for eye exams. Another bs game like this one and im threw wit the NBA this is why college is commin up stronger than ever
Officiating was not what it could be. Protecting LeBron and D Howard cheapened the game considerably. LBJ turned the ball over too many times late in the game to deserve to win. That both teams are COMPLETE teams is the only reason it was as close as it was.
protecting howard??? man were you even watching??? the only reason it was close was because the magic earned their points CLEANLY from 3 while the rest of 8-man cavs team did their, well, thing
A few key points here…
Dwight H. wants respect for his team, maybe it should start with the magic fans, which i dont see happening.
Dwight H. also wants his Technicle to be reviewed, maybe they should review his foul he had on Andy with .5 seconds left, better yet, how about they review his moving pick when he pushed Andy and hip checked Ben W. on the rachard lewis 3 at the end of the 4th.
im with you man. the league better review game 4. better yet, the league ought to review ALL calls starting from game 1 of this series. but wait! that means the magic will have won 4-0. woops.
Brian all i’m hearing from you is Waaah Waaaah
id be happy if i got away with grand theft too.
cavs did in game 2, remember?
Mike Petr. is dirty too by the way.. puttin his foot under Lebron in the 1st when lebron hit a 3. Thats a bruce bowen type play. There was no need for him to be under lebron when lebrons shot was clearly 2 steps a head of mike petr.
lebron more than made up for it elbowing pietrus twice: one in the face and another on the chest. you’re talking about dirt?
Wahh wahh refs are bad, they hate the Magic, they hate the Cavs, wah wah wahhhhhhhhhhhh. Cavs are losing 3-1 to a team without their 2nd best player and team leader. This series isn’t over yet, any real Magic fan should be well aware of that, but face the facts: Cleveland’s matchup problems have not gone away.
Cleveland got contributions from West, Z, Varejao, even Roscoe from “Martin” (Gibson) made some shots. LeBron had another monster game. Still couldn’t do it. LeBron’s tired. A fresh LeBron does NOT have 8 TO’s in a playoff game. But he cannot beat the Magic himself. Hell, even with some help he still can’t. The Magic are a better team now that they’ve got their heads in the game. Gotta thank the Celtics for that.
I can’t say the Cavs beat themselves this time. They did make mistakes, but they played much better than last game. The Magic were on fire from 3. I just wonder that if the Magic win this series, will they stop whining about their lack of respect from the media? Are we going to have to hear that god-awful “nobody believed in us” cliche over and over again ad nauseum?
There’s a difference between the cliche “no one believed in us” and the Magic’s situation. The national media members who picked the Magic go as follows: Charles Barkley (known more for his antics than his analysis), Skip Bayless (who no one likes, just says stuff to rile people up), and Bill Plaschke. That’s it. Even local Magic media members overlooked the matchups and history between the two and predicted a Cavs win. Cavs fans went up in arms when Barkley had the *gall* to pick the Magic. The Cavs players themselves tried to play the “no respect” card simply because Charles picked the Magic, and tried to cite the fact people brought up the Cavs hadn’t been tested as a possible weakness. They were offended by that.
A lot of media members even now are still talking about the Cavs without giving any credit to the Magic. ESPN still has an article devoted to LeBron on the home page every other day (Kobe vs. LeBron part 5897928374298472 coming soon, followed by whether LeBron can be a hall of famer as a left wing in the NHL). The Magic were roasted for every mistake they made throughout the season, people just foaming at the mouth to write them off because of their playstyle. So yes, the Magic do get to play the “nobody believed in us” card as many times as they want until the Finals are over, one way or the other.
