Denver fans miss George Karl slightly more than Cavalier fans miss Mike Brown. The Nuggets come into The Q with a 2-7 record and a particularly boring brand of basketball. Brian Shaw is already on a slightly warm seat after an early season six game losing streak.
The Cavaliers began their four game run in The Mile High City. Though they will probably not make their first 11 threes of the game, the Cavs should extend their streak to five.
Prediction: 114-98 Cavs

the write up in KING JAMES GOSPELL—- hit my feelings exactly—a road loss to a tough Portland team ON THE ROAD is acceptable—- a HOME loss to a 2 win “REELING DENVER ” team brings up questions / concerns—especially looking at the next 3 opponents ——this is the home stand where you were hoping everything ( got glimpses of tha vs Atlanta ) —started to gel —-guess we are stlll further off than we all had hoped

Don’t know specifics, but he sure looked slow out there tonight and was getting eaten alive by Mozgov. Once he committed the Flagrant-1 on Mozgov, Blatt took him out and never really went back to him.
My hope was that with a season off and a more talented cast, Andy could return to his old self…not just an old self….
He’s had some good games, but he was just off tonight for whatever reason
Cavs’ D (or lack of) made the Nuggets back court look like the Warriors. Afflalo, Robinson and Darrell Freaking Arthur combine to go 10/15 on threes (most of them the uncontested kind). Love and Andy manhandled by Mozgov and Manimal. Rookie Joe showed up tonight with rough shooting and D. Yeah LBJ was sick, but everyone looked like they were sick/slow (with the exception of Dion who was the only one who brought energy and could hit a shot).
Why are starters still out there? This game’s been over for about 8 minutes now.
Minutes worries me. LBJ is sick. No chemistry. That’s just from seeing game cast on ESPN app too.

Cavs guards have to keep opponents guards out of the paint. Just don’t seem to be able to do that very often.
This team should NEVER go three and a half minutes without scoring. ESPECIALLY against the Nuggets. Just an awful offensive showing for most of the second half (minus LBJ and Dion).
How many corner threes have the Nuggets made tonight? 500?

This will be a worse loss than the Knicks game if Cavs are not careful. Going to be harder to come back on the Nuggets than the C’s last Friday with the energy on both ends that Denver is displaying.
yeah this is a poor effort, especially defensively. They can’t get into a rhythm because they just keep slow walking it up the court after an inbounds. Gotta get some stops and buckets in transition
Just no urgency. Cavs playing way too much half court game and the Nugs just look more energetic on both ends. Lawson playing the passing game well
AC just said it best, Cavs need to wake up. Playing like they’re sleepwalking through this one. Mozgov stripped Andy a couple times tonight. Andy getting his money’s worth with the flagrant one.
