I got most of what I wanted to say about LeBron’s departure out of the way last night (I assumed he was leaving), so I don’t think I need to say all that much more here.
That said, here’s my post-decision LeBron piece for Pro Basketball Talk, which does cover some new ground about LeBron’s future.
Here’s the link: http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/07/lebron-james-the-golden-boy-no-more.php
Let me know what you guys think. I’ve gotta get to packing, because tomorrow morning I go to Vegas to cover the Summer League. It should be fun, so try and sleep well. This blog isn’t going anywhere, and I promise we’re going to continue having fun talking Cavs and talking basketball. Until tomorrow, everyone.
Dear Slim, I wrote but you still ain’t callin
I left my cell, my pager, and my home phone at the bottom
I sent two letters back in autumn, you must not-a got him
There probably was a problem at the post office or something
Sometimes I scribble addresses too sloppy when I jot him
but anyways; fuck it, what’s been up? Man how’s your daughter?
My girlfriend’s pregnant too, I’m bout to be a father
If I have a daughter, guess what I’ma call her?
I’ma name her Bonnie
I read about your Uncle Ronnie too I’m sorry
I had a friend kill himself over some bitch who didn’t want him
I know you probably hear this everyday, but I’m your biggest fan
I even got the underground shit that you did with Skam
I got a room full of your posters and your pictures man
I like the shit you did with Ruckus too, that shit was phat
Anyways, I hope you get this man, hit me back,
just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan
This is Dan
Everyone who keeps talking about how LeBron didn’t have enough talent on this team, fine. For the sake of the arguement, I’ll give that to you. Let’s say it was time for LeBron to leave to win a title. The problem here is that he all but admitted to the world that he isn’t good enough to lead a team and instead has to be option B. That’s the real crime in this. He is totally selling his talents short in order to hop onto the back of a wagon to win a ring…at the age of 25???!?? Chasing rings at 25. Admitting you aren’t good enough at 25. Everytime people said he doesn’t have the killer instinct I scoffed. I was wrong. This proves it. He really doesn’t believe in himself on the court.
Oh, not to mention he did this on national television. But hey.
If we send away Varejao/Mo/Jamison to the right places, we can single-handedly keep the Heat from winning a title. Normally, that isn’t how you perform trades, but the hate Gilbert has for LeBRon right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what he does. He needs to gift-wrap those three to different contenders not named the heat.
Scott,
Exactly. Rather than thanking the fans for their support, loyalty (he probably wanted to avoid that word), etc, the emphasis seemed to be on what he’s done for us or given us over the last 7 years. That’s like your hot girlfriend breaking up with you for a 6’6 corporate lawyer and saying, “Hey, at least you got to have sex with me for the last 7 years. You should be grateful.”
I’m actually looking forward to Bill Simmons’ inevitable The Decision Diary or something. I think he’ll tear him in ways Cleveland fans or Gilbert never could given our proximity to the situation.
Rich,
Could you imagine Bosh and Veteran/D-Leaguer X trying to score on a frontline of Howard and Varejao? That would be awesome. In 24 hours I became Dwight Howard’s biggest fan. I don’t see how that Heat team can find a center on the budget market that can deal with him.
Dear Slim, you still ain’t called or wrote, I hope you have a chance
I ain’t mad – I just think it’s FUCKED UP you don’t answer fans
If you didn’t wanna talk to me outside your concert
you didn’t have to, but you coulda signed an autograph for Matthew
That’s my little brother man, he’s only six years old
We waited in the blistering cold for you,
four hours and you just said, “No.”
That’s pretty shitty man – you’re like his fucking idol
He wants to be just like you man, he likes you more than I do
I ain’t that mad though, I just don’t like being lied to
Remember when we met in Denver – you said if I’d write you
you would write back – see I’m just like you in a way
I never knew my father neither;
he used to always cheat on my mom and beat her
I can relate to what you’re saying in your songs
so when I have a shitty day, I drift away and put ‘em on
cause I don’t really got shit else so that shit helps when I’m depressed
I even got a tattoo of your name across the chest
Sometimes I even cut myself to see how much it bleeds
It’s like adrenaline, the pain is such a sudden rush for me
See everything you say is real, and I respect you cause you tell it
My girlfriend’s jealous cause I talk about you 24/7
But she don’t know you like I know you Slim, no one does
She don’t know what it was like for people like us growin up
You gotta call me man, I’ll be the biggest fan you’ll ever lose
Sincerely yours, Dan — P.S.
We should be together too
I gave up on LeBron when he was asked about his legacy in the wake of game 5 of the Celtics series, and he laughed it off. That was when I finally saw what an egomaniac he was. I think he honestly believes that whatever he wants, he’ll get. And because he’s blessed with a freak body type, and a fair amount of natural skill, and has worked (fairly) hard, to a certain extent that’s true. On the basketball court, he gets almost everything he wants. But off the court, he has no such power. Sure, millions upon millions of dollars can help, but I don’t think he has any idea how little control he has over life outside of the court. So he thinks that appearing on a one-hour special is going to make him look good, that getting rings the easy way (and make no mistake, going to Miami was the easy way) is going to silence his critics, that Cleveland will forgive him because he’s LeBron James, etc etc. I think Ben says it best right above. Good analogy.
I’m disappointed because it wasn’t the best decision. Chicago was a better basketball move. I could have gotten behind that decision, though I still would’ve been upset. Cleveland had more money, and a better legacy (potentially). Miami? It has his friends. Oh, and can we all agree that Bosh is also a complete ass? It’s like he and LeBron wanted to see who could alienate a fanbase more.
Finally, I don’t buy into any of this management/front-office blame. Like people have said, before the playoffs everyone was picking the Cavs. Everyone thought the roster upgrades were good. Then, suddenly, they lose, and the upgrades all sucked. Look, the Cavs couldn’t make any long-term moves for the past two years. It was now or never. That’s not a recipe for success. Who’s fault is that? Not the front-office. The player who held them hostage, then bolted. Did they do everything right? No, and they made some godawful moves the first few years LeBron was in the league. But lately? They’ve done very well. I’m actually intrigued to see what they can do now that the prima donna is gone.
I want the Cleveland Cavaliers owner and all the fans who are carrying this hatred for Lebron to know that it will all blowup in their faces. The hatred that you wish on others, will come upon you. This man is a native Ohioan. How can you not want the best for him? How can you not want him to be happy? He has given you 7 long years of his, HIS life making you happy playing basketball to the best of his ability and this is the thanks he get? You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You don’t own him. If you really cared about him, you would wish him well even though you are sad to see him go. He did what he felt he had to do for himself and his family. If he could have talked to you about his decision he would have, but apparently he knew how you would react, so unfortunately he did it this way. You all have NO true love for this man, I guess you never did. He was just a commodity for your entertainment. And this is specifically to the Cavaliers owner, to disrespect the man’s mother, is just wrong. You all need to check yourself and change your attitude. Lebron will not carry “the curse” with him to Miami, it will just make it worse for you. Your hateful words will come back to haunt you and unfortunately the city of Cleveland.
Dear Dan, I meant to write you sooner but I just been busy
You said your girlfriend’s pregnant now, how far along is she?
Look, I’m really flattered you would call your daughter that
and here’s an autograph for your brother,
I wrote it on the Starter cap
I’m sorry I didn’t see you at the show, I musta missed you
Don’t think I did that shit intentionally just to diss you
But what’s this shit you said about you like to cut your wrists too?
I say that shit just clowning dog,
c’mon – how fucked up is you?
You got some issues Dan, I think you need some counseling
to help your ass from bouncing off the walls when you get down some
And what’s this shit about us meant to be together?
That type of shit’ll make me not want us to meet each other
I really think you and your girlfriend need each other
or maybe you just need to treat her better
I hope you get to read this letter, I just hope it reaches you in time
before you hurt yourself, I think that you’ll be doin just fine
if you relax a little, I’m glad I inspire you but Dan
why are you so mad? Try to understand, that I do want you as a fan
I just don’t want you to do some crazy shit
I seen this one shit on the news a couple weeks ago that made me sick
Some dude was drunk and drove his car over a bridge
and had his girlfriend in the trunk, and she was pregnant with his kid
and in the car they found a tape, but they didn’t say who it was to
Come to think about, his name was.. it was you
Damn!
thanks for sharing. twat.
I understand why! First when the owners locked out the players who got blamed! The player when ownership tells them not to come to work. Second, remember what happened to Shaq, Pippen and the Bulls. Owners throw players away daily but if it happens from the players point of view they’re cowards or betrayed the organization. It’s a business and that knife cuts both ways but the fallout only goes one way. The players are a one stop catch all. Jerry Buss took no heat for trading Shaq but should have. Kobe would not have 5 titles without Shaq! The breaks up of the Bulls was such a ownershjp screw up but who got blamed. The longest NBA winning streak is now up for the takings (33-0) by the Lakers. We’re watching history enjoy it. Lighten up it’s just a game! Whats disloyal about winning! LeBron chose winning over money but Cavs ownership is mad about the Money. GET OVER IT & MOVE ON!!!!!
Cleveland has 3 professional sports teams. You’re lucky. My entire home state has zero. LeBron doesn’t owe you anything. Stop crying.
So, Patricia, Cleveland fans should ‘be ashamed of themselves’ for showing anger over the best player on their team bolting for greener pastures? So because he’s from Ohio, I should want him to be happy and do what’s best for him, regardless of the impact that has on others? So I should be happy for an Ohioan who wants to rob someone at gunpoint to satisfy a drug habit? He’s just doing what he thinks is best for him! And please. He’s given us seven years of his life. Like we took it from him or something. It wasn’t a parasitic relationship. Plus, there was no thanks for the fans coming from him. No, just bitterness that he ‘spoiled’ us with his play. “He was just a commodity for your entertainment.” True. BECAUSE HE’S IN AN ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS. Finally, I’m not sure how people who are angry about the classless way this happened have gone all the way to hatred. Sure, some have. But does that mean all criticism is just hatred to you?
If you’re looking for people to share your LeBron-can-do-no-wrong mentality, go post on ESPN.
ps: how do you wish hatred on someone?
Jon-You’re right. The mere presence of sports teams is a blessing. There’s no anguish or heartbreak at all when you have 3 (three!) sports teams. Thanks for providing some perspective. The next time we miss a championship because of a Drive, or a Mesa, I’ll just think, “man, how lucky am I to have two other professional sports teams to break my heart? I feel bad for all those people who don’t have a chance to see their hopes and dreams dashed.”
To each his own ….
What all you “LeBron Fans” posting on here don’t realize is that its the means we’re pissed about, not the ends. He could have left for Miami a hundred different ways without shitting on his Cleveland fans the way he did and I would have been happy for him.
Congressman James showed absolutely no grace, no hint of empathy, no awareness of anyone but himself throughout this entire process.
No, he doesn’t owe Clevelanders anything, but the man is a public figure. He’s played in front of packed arenas for 7 years. He’s had unconditional loyalty from an entire city for 7 years. If he doesn’t want us to hate him, to think the worst things about him after all WE”VE GIVEN HIM TOO, he should have handled this much differently. Cleveland doesn’t owe him shit now, either.
The most painful thing for me through all of this is that it is going to be really hard to enjoy watching the potentially amazing basketball coming out of Miami the next 5 years. It really sucks.
Nothing cracks me up more than LeBron apologists. It’s always the same line of “HE GAVE SEVEN YEARS OF HIS LIFE…BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS blah blah blah.” Folks. He plays basketball. He got paid tens of millions of dollars TO PLAY BASKETBALL. Stop with this narrative about sacrificing and playing for “us.” Bullshit and you know it. He plays for himself. Only people who worship the ground he walks on believe otherwise. And just gtfo if yo uaren’t a Cleveland fan btw. Go start your own LeBron blog and leave us real fans alone.
Still can’t get over Philadelphia fans who come in here telling us to not be so mean. The irony is oh’ so sweet.
And on a side note, I’ve seen multiple Philly fans, Dallas fans, New York fans, fans from everywhere post here in the last 24 hours.
Still don’t think I’ve seen a Heat fan. Have fun in that empty arena LeBron. 2 months in, and the people on South beach won’t care anymore.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpmAY059TTY
Someone needs to go Tonya Harding on him. Maybe that’ll humble him a little and show there is much more to human interaction and common decency than just focusing on yourself and your wh*re momma.
The funny thing is, 4 weeks ago, I wouldn’t have blamed the guy for leaving or wanting to leave. I didn’t believe the press that he all he is is just an egotistical d*ck. But the way he turned this into a circus, what he did to Cleveland and the fans, was wrong in so many ways. Who acts this way? Justice never comes around for us Cleveland fans but I hope he never comes close to winning. I’ve become a huge Bulls, Lakers, Magic fan and as little as 4 weeks ago, I hated those teams more than any other in sports.
I used to hate Elway, Jordan, Modell for what they did to Cleveland teams. The level of hate I have for this inbred is way beyond that.
Funny how so many people are so angry that a selfish loser jerk voluntarily just left your town.
Jealousy … how you rear your ugly head.
If’s he’s such a HORRIBLE person who you want to “go tonya harding on” shouldn’t you all be REJOICING that now he’s gone holding you guys hostage? Talk about Hypocrisy.
When owners shamelessly put a washed up old player out to pasture its “a business”, but when a player does the same, oh no! he overstepped his BOUNDS! HOW DARE HE! BURN THAT TRAITOR!!
Please, it cuts both ways, Lebrons just the first athlete to be smart enough to figure this out and use it to his advantage.
Comic Sans Font gilbert (who mind you, isn’t some kid from a hardscrabble neighborhood in Akron who pulled himself up with his own talents) is just another billionaire tycoon playing sports mogul. Have fun winning a ring with MoLonte and washed up Tawn.
Who has been excusing owners for treating their players like shit? That’s such a stupid, non-relevant point to make.
And it’s definitely not jealousy, you moron. It’s disappointment. Cavs fans have been defending Congressman James as a person for the last 7 years against every accusation of egotism, selfishness, and lack of heart. We truly believed these accusations were slanderous and ruthlessly attacked everyone who leveled them. What you’re seeing here is Cavs fans finally forced to see LeBron for who he is and the utter disappointment that results.
Go wax his knob on Heat blogs.
The fact that he left was bad enough. The fact that he created such a circus, and let those teams find out by watching TV, is just classless. I hope Gilbert is right and the curse follows him down there.
I’m getting one of these and wearing it to every NBA game I go to:
“Beat 6″ fake Lebron HEAT jersey T-shirt – http://bit.ly/cgIeLS
“Comic Sans Font gilbert (who mind you, isn’t some kid from a hardscrabble neighborhood in Akron who pulled himself up with his own talents) is just another billionaire tycoon playing sports mogul”
Please.
Because knowing from about the age of 12 that he was a physical/genetic freak that was built to play basketball, and that the world around him would kiss his soon-to-be millionaire ass from that day forward is “pulling himself up” with his own talents. Yeah, what a warrior.
The number of apologists bringing up this useless counter argument of “But…But….owners are mean people too!” is interesting. So what? So, that means because owners trade and fire people and CAN be jerks, that Lebron James has carte blanche to do whatever he wants in whatever manner and should expect zero criticism? Sorry, the world (and logic) don’t work that way.
Certainly, Lebron James can choose to do basically whatever he wants. And despite what ESPN would have you believe, Cleveland fans have the right to react in basically whatever manner they want. Yeah, a few jerseys and some memorabilia were burned. Who……F’n…….CARES. Really? No one got hurt, there were no riots. The city is bad and classless and unappreciative because of that? To state a point that’s been made a million times already….people are upset about the manner, not the ends. A very uninformative, rude tv “show” that featured a stuttering, cringe-worthy Lebron attempting (attempting) to sing his own praises vis-a-vis the Cavs organization and offering more backhanded compliments towards a team he couldn’t be bothered to call a half an hour beforehand. It was anti-charisma at it’s “finest”.
Sorry Cavs fans. I feel for you guys right now.
Check out my thoughts on the fallout from LeBron’s decision, the Randolph-Lee trade and NBA Summer League.
sportsaccordingtome.com
wow realy yall i can understand being man but talkin bad about him iz just foul lets look at facts he took this team that every one forgot about and made them big took them to palyoffs increaced ticket sells made it possable for new jerseys gave people something to bleave in but at the same time he is one person and one person dose not win championships look at nba history not a single team has one it all wit just one player and if so please let me know ill wait at the end of the day he did what was good for him yea ok he got showed lots of love from cleveland but i want every one to think of this what if cleveland didnt have that first round pick and he went to another team would it be the same thing he is 25 and im the same age i can tell u if i wz in his place i would have done the same 5 move years and he will be 30 and his talent will slowly slip away and his body will fall apart because thats how it works no one wants to be know as the great player that never got a ring when they retire look at all the grates that u can say that about so think about this before we go bashing the man im a bulls fan saying this but i love lebron thats all i have to say o and go Heat lol
Quick, someone help! They’ve run out of punctuation in Miami!
It’s hard to tell if we actually have a Miami Heat fan sighting here…..or is it just a LeBron fan???Not sure…I’m thinking LeBron fan because Heat fans are so damn rare that the odds of one of them making their way to a Cavs board is unlikely.
If you are a Heat fan, think about how you would be feeling if Wade up and bolted for Chicago. After Riley tore that team apart to specifically set him up for this off-season, imagine Wade leaving. You’d have two effin players on your roster. I’m sure you would understand though, right? Idiots
I am worried Gilbert is going to try to rebuild this thing on the fly though. It’s gonna be ugly. He needs to do everything in his power to stick true to his word though, and make sure LBJ doesn’t win a title. He can’t do that by winning quickly though, because we can’t. He’s gotta tear this thing down first. But he can make sure LBJ doesn’t win a title. Tear it down while supporting the rest of the league. Chicago needs a shooter, send them Anthony Parker. The Knicks need a PG, send the Mo Williams. W/e the hell it takes to make sure LBJ fails.
Oh, and and if LBJ signs a 5-year deal…enough with this bullshit that he gave Cleveland everything he could. He gave us a 3 year contract extension and if he gives Miami a 5 year deal, you will absolutely know this whole thing has been cooked up for some time.
Lebron thinks he is a God we all know that, what is so surprising about his actions? did you really expect anything more from the guy who dances in the middle of an nba game, refuses to shake his opponents hand (a simple gesture of respect to ones opponents) calls his team a “supporting cast” and proclaims he spoils people with his game?
It is perfectly in character, this is who Lebron was and who Lebron is, it should come as no surprise, the fans and the publicity have made him think he is a God, and a God does not need to worry about us lowly humans, nor does he have any need for decency or basic manners.
wish krolik would add a non-bron post
Anyone know if Eyenga or Sasha Kaun are on the summer league team? They aren’t listed.
Anyway, I hope Gilbert cools off and decides to blow up the team and rebuild. I’m not a season ticket holder, but I’d rather sit through sit through a couple really bad seasons than have a middle-of-the-road winner without good draft picks or cap space for the next ten years.
Cleveland fans so immature and spiteful. No wonder why you guys never win shit. You guys don’t deserve it.
Teach us, Tangman. Teach us maturity. Teach us grace. Come, Tangman. Come and teach us. And bring your sister. Please bring your sister Tangman. Bring her to teach us, too.
The post above is real mature. Amirite?
I think Eyenga is on the summer league squad chamois. Not sure about Kaun.
Ugh… any rumors as to what’s next?
I bought this shirt as a pick me up…
http://www.cafepress.com/DeathandTaxes.458441393
ya.. cloudy will slight chance of crap!
Who would have won the title this year if Lebron had played for LA and Kobe had played for Cleveland? Kobe is one of the best ever. Still, Shaq won his first three rings. This year Kobe missed the winning shot in one game – Artest put it in. In GAME 7 of the finals, he was 6-24, 0-6.
Since when did this site get taken over by ridiculous LeBron fanboys? I can’t wait until the Cavs sink firmly into mediocrity so we can have some decent comment sections again.
Tangman-Teach me maturity. As payment, I’ll teach you how a sentence needs a subject AND a verb.
What’s amazing is that LeBron leaves, and the LeBron fanboys seem to mulitply in numbers around here. I’m not sure what type of natural law this is, but I don’t like it.
That said, if they fail this year, how many LeBron fanboys finally hop off the Lebron wagon? Miami certailny will stop caring. Hell, they’ll probably stop caring as soon as the team loses a game. If he can’t win it now, then even the most blinded individuals will have to take a long, hard look at the king.
Windy is reporting that the Heat are contacting Z’s agent. This is fucking bullshit.
Good luck with Bosh and Z against Howard, or Gasol/Odom/Bynum.
The Heat may be looking at a pretty small window. Unless Pat Riley can pull several rabbits out of his hat, it will take them a year or two to get a legit 8- or 9-man rotation. Wade already has a lot of miles on him and an injury history, so he may have only 2 or 3 years left before he starts looking like Ron Artest. It wouldn’t surprise me if any resemblance between the Heat and a Superteam lasts for only a couple of seasons.
Ah, a fellow can still dream, can’t he? Even if it’s a very different kind of dream than we were entertaining back in April…
ALL THE HATE ? MANAGMENT?
WHY WASNT DELONTE WEST PLAYING IN ALASKA FOR SARAH PALIN OR IN CHURCH CLOTHES THE REMAINING SEASON? WAS HE SUPPOSED TO GET A RING FOR THAT?
CLEVL FANS! STERN?
BURNING JERSEY’S / YOUR CITY HAD 7 YEARS OF 1 YOUNG MANS LIFE TO RIDE EVERY ANGLE,GOD GAVE HIS SON TO THE SAME SELFISH BULL, IF HE GOT HURT OFF COURT IT WOULD JUST BE A SHAME RIGHT? YET O.K NOT ONE BOO WHEN WEST HIT THE FLOOR YET YOU LOVE JAMES? OR USED.
HE WANTED TO STAY!! YALL LET HIM DOWN…SAY SORRY BEFORE HE SIGNS…SEND WEST WEST…
DEAR MR.GILBERT (WEST GOES BEST)
P.S. IM STILL GOING TO WEAR MY LEBRON $750.00 LEATHER JACKET WITH MASKING TAPE ACROSS THE BACK…..GILBERT YOU LET ME DOWN, I LOOKED GOOD IN THAT BLACK AND BURGUNDY.. 4 OF MY 6 GIRLFRIENDS ARE UPSET WITH YOU ON THAT ONE…LOL!
@Kevin… If I have to burn my Ilgauskas jersey too I will seriously go on a chainsaw rampage…
In fairness, I’m not sure why anyone should have a problem with Z joining the Heat. He’s a FA too…and for that matter gave more of himself to Cleveland than Lebron. If he wants to go to the Heat for his best shot at a ring, so be it – it would offer a silver lining to a Heat championship, or as close to such a thing as there could ever be, considering.
Unless Z decides to announce his decision on a pointless hour long’ ESPN special, of course.
Who wants to buy some DVDs!?
A New York Times column today that was mainly about the World Cup had a few good lines that may offer some comic relief:
In New York on Thursday, people of all ethnicities were far more consumed by a different sport, one in which every 24 seconds or so, 10 men jump in the air. Their focus was laserlike as they waited breathlessly for word from LeBron James, who may be more self-regarding than Lady Gaga, about where he wished to play basketball next season. Television air time was cleared for his announcement, a privilege usually reserved for a president when he has a new country he wants to invade.
Let big Z go to Miami and ring chase. He’s earned it. We traded him, he can move on. It will make it that much sweet when the Heat come to town because simply chant things about Z all night and praise him right infront of Ledick.
Phil, I think the window (hopefully) is quite small tbh. Because if they don’t win this year, the ego’s will absolutely collide. Everyone thinks this will be some easy transition..ugh no. Two 1A alpha dogs who absolutely want all of the spot light are going to clash. They can say all they want that it won’t happen, they can convicne themselves over the phone. But when they step on that court, and one of them gets more love than other (in this case Wade more than LeBron) things will start to un-ravel. It will never fail. We know they both have massive ego’s here. Just like Shaq had to get kicked out of L.A. when Kobe finally reached top 5 in the league status, same will happen here. Both are top 5 players, it will not last the entire length of the contracts..promise. It DEF will not last if we can get Cp3 to Orlando. Game over for the Heat then as they will NEVER find someone to guard Howard. There is no1 in the league at this point who can do that except for Perkins and SHaq. Pretty much it.
Anyway, I just have never seen two alpha dogs who demand the ball at all times able to co-exist on the court (forget the Olympics, this is way different) together. In-fighting will start once they get get down 3-2 in the playoffs. I can’t wait.
You do realize the rest of the country thinks you guys are pathetic, right?
I’m not from Cleveland and I don’t even live on the same coast as most you cabs fans. I really feel for the cavs yesterday was a sad day and seeing lebron in that heat uniform was the oddest sight ever. I can’t place words on it. I guess I can vaguely understand the feeling most of you must feel. I loved watching the cavs and even though I’ll watch him play in Miami it’s not going to be the same. I’ll miss this blog too.
It’s ok Orbit, people who don’t live where you do probably feel the same about you.
Ok…should we do a SnT for LeBron? I don’t really know here. We could take as many picks..and between us and Houston they will be left with no picks from now until forever. OR, we could not do a SnT, therefore making LeBron paid less than the other two. He’s in Wade’s city AND he’s paid less….that shit would tear him up at night.
