Cavs: The Podcast 0039 Part 1 – Season’s Greetings! (updated)

TWO DAYS! That’s all we have to wait to see our beloved Cavs take the floor. I, like I’m sure most of you, cannot wait to see what this season has in store. From top to bottom the Cavaliers look primed for a playoff run. So what better way to celebrate the beginning of the best season of all – the NBA season.
This weekend all the C:tB writers (minus Kevin – we missed you, buddy!) hopped on the old podcaster to review the roster and discuss the challenges that the season holds.
Today, for part one, Robert Attenweiler, Tom Pestak, and I cover the roster from top to bottom. How good will Dellavedova be? Is Anthony Bennett a starter? And what kind of leap can we expect from TT in year three? All of this is covered, and more, as we touch on literally every player on the Cavs team.

Agreed that there are so many ifs for this team.
The good news is, that the ceiling is much higher than previous years.
I just hope that Cavs fans have patience with this team. They could be very bad for a few months, or at the least, inconsistent. Lots of new pieces, still a VERY young team, and of course a new head coach.
And Mike Brown always starts very poorly.
You’re right Raoul. People with a life don’t drive to school and work. People with a life do have time to go onto a blog and comment on a podcast thread though.
Nice pod guys. It’s kinda sad how much of our season hinges on “ifs”, isn’t it? We could be a 4 seed IF Bynum gives us 60 games, IF Kyrie doesn’t have another freak injury or four, IF Dion develops the way he should, IF TT’s switch of hands pays off, IF Varejao avoids season ending injury, IF Bennett can get in shape and find a solution to his asthma problems, IF IF IF. Actually I enjoy listening to podcasts on my drive to and from work. Listened to ours (trying to get a sense of what we can do better) and listened to Brian Windhorst’s “Below the Rim” podcast with Jeff Van Gundy.
I appreciate the time the team puts into the posts and podcasts. Watching a game, taking notes, and putting together an entertaining write up takes a lot time and energy, keep up the great work guys.
And Raoul, that’s some solid logic, you might not have time for a podcast but at least you have time to troll. You are what’s wrong with the internet. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to argue semantics with internet strangers and correct there grammar to prove how endowed and smart I is. Go Cavs!
Many CtB readers have a life. People with a life rarely have time for podcasts.
Absolutely. My only criticism is that they should do more podcasts. Ideally they’d do one a week during the season. This is the first season for optimism in three years. It’s the first time in over a thousand days that we should have legitimate and reasonable expectations for this team.
