Man, the Bucks play some sticky defense. These dudes are bumping and grinding like it’s teh club.
Hey, JJ hit a jumper!
I’m calling BS on that until I have incontravertable video evidence.
He’s hit two jumpers so far!
John, I’ll bet you were the happiest person in the world when they ran your favorite play with 17 seconds left to break the tie.
I’ve been away from the mainstream in cavs nation when it comes to being afraid of the Bobcats. I’m not. I simply don’t believe you can win a playoff series with one guy who can get you buckets on his own. Especially when that guy is Stephen Jackson. Especially when your next best scorer has barely even played in the playoffs (has Wallace?).
Now, for the last month I’ve been more and more concerned with the Bucks. The number 1 reason is Andrew Bogut. The guy is the now the 2nd best center in the East, and quite frankly is quite a bit better than anyone the Bobcats have. Throw in Salmons and Jennings, and you have 3 different guys who can possibly hit you up for 30. I am fully convinced the Bucks will be the Cavs 2nd round matchup. Yes, I think they beat either the Hawks or the Celtics.
Finally, it’s time to stop worrying about the FT shooting and just chalk it up to something that isn’t improving. We will have to win in spite of it, and that’s that. What I am worrying about is our 3-pt. shooting. I like AP…but he absolutely has to hit that wide open corner three when it comes in the flow of the offense, and he hasn’t been hitting it lately. If he isn’t hitting it, he is almost like Z on the offensive end and basically bringing nothing to the table.
On a sadder note: the fork has officially been put in my Arsenal Gunners. Fabregas and Gallas going down for the rest of the season in one game…….sigh. Chelse buys another title yet again.
“Williams took the inbound pass and drove the left side drawing two defenders. Once in the lane, he threaded a bounce pass from under the rim to a cutting James, who muscled in his layup over Bogut to put the Cavs ahead 97-95 with 17.4 seconds left.
“It has not worked I think one time,” James said. “We played Charlotte at home and [former teammate] Flip [Murray] sniffed it out one time. We added a counter to it since then and it hasn’t failed us yet.”
So what’s it called?
“I can’t tell you,” James said, smiling. “It’s called, ‘always works.’”"
