Linkage of Kyrie’s Arrival
2013-02-17In case you didn’t hear about All-Star weekend yet, here’s a Kyrie-centric recap: 32 points in the Rising Stars game, a three-point contest trophy, and 15 points in the All-Star game itself.
Sam Amick wrote a great article about Kyrie’s All-Star experience and how Kyrie feels about the Lebron-returning rumors.
Kyrie straight-up owned Brandon Knight when they went mano a mano at the end of the Rising Stars game.

I agree with Versus. Lebron wants adoration, MONEY, and his place at the canons of NBA lore. Those things aren’t necessarily related. His 2014 decision will be different than 2010 because he’s a different person now than he was. I see Lebron going to the place where he has the best shot to win multiple titles to cement his place next to Jordan as the greatest player ever. I think Lebron’s pathological desire to be loved and adored everywhere will win out, meaning he returns to the one fan base that doesn’t currently love and adore him.
I’ll admit during that during the all-star game seeing Kyrie and Lebron on the same team had me kind of drooling. Would be amazing. I know the blog doesn’t like that speculation, and I totally get that, but if I had to guess, I think Lebron is more likely to wind up in LA with his next contract. It makes sense given his global domination aspirations to start cornering all the markets.
