Relevant Statistics:

Pace: Cavs 93.2 (28th) vs. Pacers 100.0 (2nd)

Offensive Efficiency: Cavs 108.2 (5th) vs. Pacers 99.0 (27th)

Defensive Efficiency: Cavs 100.5 (6th) vs. Pacers 104.4 (18th)

Notes:

The Pacers love to run, but aren’t very good at it. They play at the second-fastest pace in the NBA, but rank 19th in fast-break points per game with 12.9 points.

Troy Murphy lives off of threes in transition. Important to find him on fast-break situations when he’s in.

Important to make Danny Granger uncomfortable on the perimeter. He takes almost eight threes a game, and he is more than capable of burying them.

Roy Hibbert is fast becoming one of the best young low-post threats in the game. The Cavs are great at defending the post, so let’s see if they can neutralize him.

This should be an easy on for the Cavs if they don’t get out of their game. Important to limit bad turnovers to keep Indy from getting out on the break.
